1997 was the first year of K2 Bicycles incarnation. Already world renowned for winter sports equipment, the Vashon Island based company burst forth onto the bicycle scene with a new category of extreme high-end full-suspension mountain bikes. Since that time, K2 Bicycle has diversified its bicycle line by adding a wider range of Mountain bikes, Road bikes, Hybrid/Comfort bikes, Youth and Women’s specific bikes to the mix and has enjoyed considerable success in doing so. After a decade of fine tuning, K2 has established an extensive bicycle enthusiast following, and is poised to lead cycling for years to come.
